I clicked the article because I live in Ohio, and would like to know where this occured. Turns out it isn’t even in Ohio.

options:

a) it happened at multiple walmarts on multiple occasions and they forgot to update the headline before uploading the same article again

b) who cares, all the middle states have a walmart and its hard to tell one from another. some stuff happened in a place.

Some folks in Gettysburg today told me nothing in the vicinity of Erie should count as PA. “They need to just cut off that corner of the state.”

Oops! I appreciate the attention that went into the related section, but yeah—that’s a whoops. Maybe the close-to-Cleveland part threw her off, I dunno.

I usually just send the author a kind note that there’s an oops. It happens! Articles on here tend to require a quick turnaround. It looks like someone already noted it in the comments, though, so hopefully the headline gets fixed .

I figured the proximity was the reason for it. I did not mean to put her on blast for it. I’m new in the area, and wasn’t sure if that was a common thing to do. For example, I knew people who lived “outside of Chicago”, but lived in northwest Indiana.
